Chantilly Lace started with a question I'd been asking my whole career: what does it actually take to make a guest feel like the only person in the room? Bridal didn't have a good answer. So I built one.
Restaurants teach you to read a room. Who's celebrating. Who's nervous. Whose mom is quietly worried about price. Who came in on the verge of tears for a reason they haven't said yet. Who needs the menu walked through and who wants to be left alone with it. You learn to hold a Tuesday-night anniversary the same way you'd hold a head-of-state dinner — because to that couple, it's the same thing.
That's hospitality. Not a script, not a smile someone trained you to put on. Attention. Reading people in real time and shaping the room around them. Done right, every guest leaves convinced you'd been preparing for them all week.
Reading the room is so important. Not everyone has the same support system, and there are so many feelings wrapped around weddings — but it is ALWAYS true that the bride deserves to be celebrated, and that's a focus at Chantilly.
So Chantilly Lace is the restaurant approach, applied to bridal. One bride on the floor. The whole boutique, hers. A consultant whose entire job is reading the appointment in real time — when to pull another gown, when to step out, when your mom needs a moment with you alone in front of the mirror, when your best friend has a question she doesn't want to ask in front of your mom. The gowns are the easy part. The hospitality is everything.
"Every bride who walks through the door should feel the way the most important guest in the best restaurant feels. That's the standard. The dress is part of it — but the feeling is the whole point."
We renovated the space ourselves. Soft natural light, one bride at a time, and a main-floor fitting room big enough for the people who matter to you most. Fully accessible throughout, because every bride deserves the full experience.
The region's most complete designer edit. Couture-leaning labels and fashion-forward newcomers, under one roof, and a silhouette for every bride and every budget.
Every booking is private. No overlapping parties, no shared consultants, no rush. 90 minutes, one bride, one floor.
Most gowns offer real customization — fabric swaps, sleeve options, neckline changes, train length. Your gown should look like you, not the sample.
When your gown arrives we book an unhurried pickup appointment and fully steam it on site. You leave wedding-day ready — no last-minute scramble.
15–25 minutes from the Detroit border — and soon to be even quicker once the Gordie Howe International Bridge opens. Brides turn the visit into a day out — book the appointment, stay for the waterfront, the wine bars, the downtown. We recommend it.
